Ballymore has launched the latest phase of homes at Wardian London, a two-tower development on the Isle of Dogs overlooking South Dock. Taking its name from the Wardian Cases created in east London in the days of the British Empire and used to transport both rare plants and tea plants, the towers – one of 55 storeys, the other of 50 – feature a mixture of one and two-bedroom homes, along with larger suites and penthouses. Residents have access to a rooftop observatory bar, two restaurants and a 25m open-air swimming pool, as well as membership of the Wardian Club, and a 24-hour concierge service. The first apartments will be ready for 2019; prices start at £499,000
