An Asian property developer is preparing to submit a planning application for a three-tower residential project on the Isle of Dogs, at Manilla Street and Marsh Wall.
Designed by Pilbrow and Partners, the tallest of the buildings proposed by Far East Developments will stand 60 storeys high, complemented by two smaller ones, each of 25 storeys, with around a quarter of the 712 homes earmarked as affordable. Part of the South Quay Masterplan, the development also includes a primary school, a hotel and a health centre. Should permission be granted, Far East plans to begin work on the site in mid-2015.
