Residential property features in new Canary Wharf owners’ plans
Ric Clark, chief executive of Brookfield Property Partners – part of the Qatari-led bid that recently won the battle to take over London's Canary Wharf complex for £2.6bn – has revealed it plans to build 474,000sq m of offices, shops and residential space on the area’s 12ha of vacant land over the next six to ten years. Proposals already exist to build 3,610 new homes on its Wood Wharf site.
