Nine extra floors mooted for Hertsmere House

15th August 2014

Greenland Holdings, the property developer behind the proposed Hertsmere House at Canary Wharf, has applied to Tower Hamlets Borough Council requesting permission to add another nine floors to what was already set to be London’s tallest residential tower when complete.

Extending the number of floors from 62 to 72 would allow the company to build an extra 282 homes, in addition to the 700 already planned, but won’t make it any taller than the 242m already approved by the council.
