New bridge to link “mini-Manhattan” with Newham

Ballymore has announced plans to build an 80-metre bridge, designed by Davies, Maguire & Whitby over the River Lea, connecting the “mini-Manhattan” at City Island, Canary Wharf with the London Borough of Newham, offering residents easier access to Canning Town station. A new 1,700 home development promises waterside parks, bars and restaurants, art studios, boutique shops, a school and a private residents' club.
