High-end London developers face challenges

Research consultancy EC Harris has warned that London’s high-end property developers are being faced with construction delays and rising costs. As this is at a time while prices appear to be peaking, the firm suggests that the market may have reached its pinnacle. Developers plan to build luxury property worth £60bn over the coming 10 years, but of the 200 schemes identified by EC Harris, only 60 have secured a main contractor.
