New figures show apartments are beating all other property types, with average prices up by more than 32% in the past 10 years.
The average price of an apartment in the UK has risen by almost £51,000 in the past decade to £208,169, according to research from Halifax. Residential properties as a whole rose by 15% over the same period. The worst performing property types over the period were detached homes rising 12% and bungalows, which have seen 10-year price rises of 13%.
