“Distinct chill” cools London house prices

26th September 2014

According to the latest report from Hometrack, house prices in London fell by 0.1% between August and September, for the first time in nearly two years.

Prices across England and Wales as a whole remained flat, recording zero growth for the first time in 19 months. Demand for homes nationally fell by 2.1% in September, and the number of buyers registering with agents fell this quarter. Richard Donnell, director of research at Hometrack said: "There is a distinct chill in the air this month”.
