Silvertown Quays development in the planning

Plans have been unveiled for a new £1.5bn redevelopment of Silvertown Quays.

The mixed-use scheme will cover 62 acres of the Royal Docks and consist of commercial and retail space as well as 2,500 new homes. The proposal is strongly supported by Boris Johnson, who regards it as a key part of his commitment to regenerating the area as a new business district.
