“Real life” prices would force EastEnders out of E20

A study by the National Housing Federation (NHF) reveals that most of the characters in EastEnders would be left homeless if they were forced to pay "real life" prices for the houses they occupy in the shows.

A spokesman for the NHF said the characters' modest wages wouldn't even cover the cost of rent, never mind a mortgage.
