Residents of South Quay attended a public meeting earlier this week, to hear more details about Berkeley Homes’ plans for a two-tower development on the Isle of Dogs, just south of Canary Wharf.
Patrick Campbell, of development partner Fosters and Architects, presented more details of the scheme, telling the audience how the larger of the skyscrapers will step down from 73 storeys to 60, with the southern tower dropping from 36 storeys to 28. He called it “a marker building of high quality…This will be a destination, this is something that will be memorable and have a character of its own”.
