Plans submitted for 53-storey West India Docks tower

Joint developers Meridian Property Holdings and LBS Properties have submitted plans to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for a 53-storey residential tower on the Isle of Dogs

Designed by architect Make, the development will be located next to West India Docks and will consist of 400 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Frank Filskow, Make partner, said: “The apartments benefit from the combination of balconies, winter gardens and terraces, providing private external space and excellent views of the capital”, adding “The building’s simple ‘pencil’-shaped form has been refined to create an elegant, slender silhouette on the skyline”.
