New development mooted for Millhabour

Galliard Homes is reportedly ready to send planners at Tower Hamlets proposals for a sprawling residential scheme based in the Docklands area.

Covering 6.37 acres on either side of Millharbour, it would contain up to 1.5m sq ft of living space, translating into 1,550 homes. Additionally, up to 161,000 sq ft will be set aside for non-residential use such as retail, restaurants, bars and education. The scheme would rise to between 18 and 40 storeys and, if planning permission is granted, would take five years to complete.
