More properties released in popular East Village

31st January 2014

Apartments at the former Athletes’ Village in the Olympic Park’s East Village have proved so popular with renters that more stock is being made available to meet demand.

Over 100 people have set up there already, the first residents settling in back in November and December last year. One resident, John Ward, says it already has “the great atmosphere you’d expect from London living, but with a village feel, and lots of open space” – ten hectares in all, with the Olympic Aquatics Centre and Velodrome available for public use from this Spring. Renters benefit from a range of free and discounted services, including free hyperoptic broadband and reductions on Sky TV. Prices range from £310 per week for a one-bedroom apartment, to £515 per week for a four-bedroom townhouse.
